BLUES

B.L.U.E.S. or Blues on Halsted for years was an iconic little nightspot in the heart of the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago. The intimate size of this place put you up close and personal to some amazing musicians. Not necessarily a pretty site by day, the exterior popped to life when the lights came on at night. It’s been closed for a while but back in the old days it was so smoke-filled I was sure I sacrificed a few days of my life every time I went...sorta gave me the "blues" but in a good way!
